The new Avlex HSP-49 Premium Earset Microphones are the best sounding, most comfortable, and easiest to adjust earset microphones in the Avlex line. They feature an elastic yet rubbery ear loop. The combination of the very low 3 gram weight and rubbery surface allows the elastic loop to grip any size ear with very little force making this one of the most comfortable earset mics on the market. The boom is made of a softer easier to bend without kinking material, and the boom length to be adjusted to fit different head sizes. There is a sweat ring on the boom (not shown in above photo) which gives sweat drops a place from which to drip and keeps them out of the capsule. The HSP-49 earsets have premium 3 mm diameter subminiature omni condenser mics. They are so small as to be almost invisible from a few feet away. The weight is so light you will quickly forget you are wearing it. Perfect for either speaking or singing, they provide much greater gain before feedback than any lapel mic since they get the mic element so much closer to the mouth. With many earset and headset mics if the cord is broken near the mic, the mic can't be repaired. Unlike many other earset and headset mics on the market, the HSP-49 have field replaceable cords, and come with a spare cord. HSP-49 are rated for 140 dB SPL so they can handle even very loud performers. With "red dot" adapters they can handle 155 dB SPL.
