The Fourth Dimension!
In addition to Height, Width and Depth there is another dimension that you should consider when purchasing equipment cases, The Diagonal Length! Keep in mind that the diagonal length (lower right hand corner to the upper left hand corner and vice versa) exceeds the width and height. It's a "math" thing but the diagonal length of this case is approximately 26.5 inches based on any online rectangle calculator. You can easily fit a very long shotgun mic with a power module and an XLR cable attached into this case with plently of room to spare for accesories as well. Something to ponder when buying any case.
